This stone bath mat is as advertised. It is non slip and absorbs water well. I like that it is mold resistant and made from diatomaceous earth. It is softer to stand on then one would expect. It looks very nice in my small bathroom and fits perfectly with a small shower. See photo.Unfortunately, I had to mark it down one star because there is a crack in it. I'm going to assume that was made during handling, rather than a product defect. Hopefully. Because I really like it.
Put this in the 2nd (kid's) bathroom. Previously had a rubber backed, cloth type, bath mat in there. It would get SOAKED and I worried about hygiene with it. We didn't want mold or anything gross.He has a bathtub/shower combo unit so wanted a larger mat. Got this one and worked great right away.Water is wicked away almost immediately and then it dries naturally in just minutes.And, if you "accidentally" step on it after someone gets out of the bath/shower, you don't feel gross stepping onto something wet and cold. Just a stone, dry, mat.And, even though it is stone, it actually feels good to step on.
I love the size of this mat! I was already using a stone mat, but it was a bit too small. This one fits in front of my shower perfectly!
This stone bath mat is great at absorbing water, and it looks just as pictured. It's stylish - I love how the marble style looks in my bathroom. It stays clean because the water is absorbed super quickly, and doesn't sit and get moldy. The only issue is that when it eventually gets clogged (most do after 6-12 months), unless you're using the bottom side of it, when you sand it it'll likely take the design off. Other than that, it's a fantastic bath mat.
